Baked Fish

about 2 pounds fish fillets or steaks
salt and pepper (to taste)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine (melted)

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Season fillets with salt and pepper. If the fillets are large cut them into serving-size pieces. In a bowl mix the lemon juice, onion and melted butter. Dip the fish into the butter mixture then place in a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan or casserole. Pour the remaining butter mixture over the fish. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
