1 (8 ounce) can diced beets (or about 1 cup cooked and diced beets)
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons liquid from canned beets (or water if you cooked them)
In a covered saucepan combine the 2 tablespoons of liquid, sugar, dry mustard, butter and vinegar, mix well then add the beets. Simmer over low heat until the beets are heated through.
