Cranberry Salad

Makes a lot!

6 apples (pared and chopped)
2 pounds of cranberries (chopped)
8 ounces of miniature marshmallows
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cool whip or whipping cream

Use a food processor to chop apples and cranberries. Mix chopped apples and cranberries with marshmallows. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Add the sugar, mix and refrigerate overnight. Mix in cool whip/whipping cream. Refrigerate and serve.
