Easy Cheesy Lemon Bars - Quick
1 package lemon cake mix
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1 package (about 13 ounces) lemon frosting mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom only of a 9 x 13 inch cake pan.
1. In a large bowl combine the cake mix, butter and the one egg.
2. Mix with a fork until moistened.
3. Pat into the prepared pan.
4. Blend the frosting into the cream cheese.
5. Take out 1/2 cup of the frosting cheese mixture and set aside.
6. Add the two eggs to the remaining frosting mixture then beat on high for 3 to 5 minutes.
7. Spread over the cake mixture.
8. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Use the toothpick test to determine doneness.
9. Cool then spread with the 1/2 cup reserved frosting.
