A utensil for beating eggs; a kitchen utensil used for beating or blending ingredients such as raw eggs or cream, especially one with two sets of spaced vertical blades rotated by turning a handle.
endive:
A leafy plant used in salads; a plant grown for its tightly packed curly leaves. Used in salads and as a garnish.
escarole:
Another name for endive.
