June D's Poppy Seed Cake - Quick and Easy

1 large package white or yellow cake mix
1 large package instant vanilla pudding mix
5 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons poppy seed
1 teaspoon almond extract

Place all of the above in a very large mixer bowl and beat on high for 5 minutes. Pour into an ungreased angel food cake pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 55 minutes. Do not turn over to cool like you would an angel food cake. Cool in pan and remove to a large plate or cake plate.

Glaze with Orange juice/powdered sugar mixture if you want. Start out with 1/2 to 3/4 cup orange juice adding powdered sugar until it takes on the constancy of a very thick sauce. Pour slowly over cake.
