1/2 cup salad oil (I use olive oil)
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3 to 4 lb steak (at least 1 inch thick)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
(Round steak not recommended)
1 teaspoon onion
Combine all ingredients to make marinade. Coat entire surface of steak with marinade. Place steak in a shallow glass dish, cover with remaining marinade then let stand for several hours or overnight (all day is good too). Turn steak occasionally. The lemon will tenderize the meat and the sauce and spices will enhance the flavor.
Remove the steak from the marinade. You have a choice: cook on the grill 5 to 15 minutes (depending on how done you like it) on each side or broil it in your oven, timing is the same as above. Enjoy.
