10 to 12 new potatoes
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons fresh chives (snipped)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
dash of nutmeg

Wash potatoes under running water with a vegetable brush and peel a strip from around the middle of each potato. Place in large saucepan, cover and cook over medium high heat until just tender. Keep potatoes warm.

In a small saucepan mix the butter, lemon peel, lemon juice, snipped chives, salt and pepper. Heat over medium heat just to boiling. Put hot potatoes into a serving dish and pour the sauce over the potatoes, serve hot.
