Mrs. Miller's Salmon Patties

1 (1 pound) can salmon (flaked, not drained)
1 egg (slightly beaten)
2 tablespoons onion (minced)
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
extra bread crumbs (for coating patties)

Combine salmon, egg, onion, flour, lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup bread crumbs in a large bowl. Using a fork mix until well blended. Shape into 9 patties (about 1/4 cup each). Flatten each slightly the dip each patty into the extra bread crumbs. Spray fry pan then preheat, melt butter. Add patties and brown on each side. Serve with chili sauce or catsup
