Quick Fudge Frosting
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoon cocoa
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/2 to 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1. In a medium saucepan mix the sugar and cocoa until well blended.
2. Add the butter, milk, corn syrup and salt.
3. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Boil for about 3 to 4 minutes, keep stirring.
4. Cool, then mix in the confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Use enough sugar to make it easy to spread.
This recipe makes enough frosting for an 8 or 9 inch square cake.
