Rice Casserole

1 lb lean hamburger
3/4 cup uncooked rice
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
3 1/2 cups boiling water
1 small onion chopped
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup celery diced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup diced carrots

Brown hamburger, onion and seasonings. Put in a baking dish or casserole (2 quart) then add the remaining ingredients, be sure and stir them up then bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
