Snappy Green Beans

4 slices bacon
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or bacon fat if you aren't worried about cholesterol)
1 to 2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups hot cooked green beans

Fry the bacon until crisp, drain on a paper towel. Cook the onion in the oil until just tender. Add the vinegar to the onions and season with salt and pepper (to taste) Pour over the hot beans and crumble bacon on top.
