Soft-Cooked Eggs

If you want to live dangerously eat a soft-cooked egg. I'm going to include it anyway. We should all have the basic right to make ourselves sick without some government or medical institution telling us what to eat. I've eaten soft boiled eggs and have never gotten sick, so there.

Cold water method:
1. Place eggs in a saucepan then add enough cold water to cover eggs plus one inch.
2. Heat on high to boiling.
3. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 1 to 3 minutes (this determines how soft you want the egg).
4. Immediately cool eggs in very cold water to stop them from cooking.
5. Cut eggs in half and scoop out the shell.
6. Butter or margarine and a little salt. There you go!!!

Boiling Water Method:
1. Place eggs in a bowl of warm water. This keeps the shells from cracking when you place them in the boiling water.
2. Fill a saucepan with enough water to cover the eggs plus one inch. Bring to a rapid boil.
3. With a spoon transfer the eggs from the warm water to the boiling water.
4. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 6 to 8 minutes (again this determines how done you want them).
5. Immediately cook eggs in very cold water to stop the cooking process.
6. Cut in half and scoop out the shell.
7. Butter or margarine and a little salt.
