Super Chocolate Cake

1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 tablespoons cocoa (heaping)
Pinch of salt
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup cold water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch cake pan or two 8 inch layer pans if you are making a layer cake.

Sift together in the sugar, flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt in a large bowl. Add the mayonnaise, water and vanilla, mixing well. Scrape bowl often. Pour into prepared cake pan(s). Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool before frosting.
